Sumo Leamington was established in March 2019. Managed and operated by a team of industry veterans with deep experience of service-based games. The studio vision statement is quite simply 'We make you look forward to tomorrow'; a vision to make games which players will keep coming back to - day after day, year after year.

OUR REMOTE-FIRST STUDIO AND HYBRID WORKING

Leamington by name, remote-first by nature! At Sumo Leamington we have a team of over 100 people, spread across more than 12 different countries all over the world. This enables us to recruit and retain some of the best talent in the industry regardless of location, while giving our team the flexibility to work from wherever they like and enjoy a better work-life balance. We also have regular social activities, both in-person and online, which give everyone the chance to build relationships and get to know their colleagues.

Our physical studio is in Leamington Spa, the heart of the UK games industry. For those wishing to immerse themselves in the video game development community, Leamington is the place to be! Our current studio a space for collaboration, creativity and the sharing of ideas, which our team can use as much or as little as they wish. In late ‘23 we will be moving to a new, state-of-the-art studio space, which those who prefer a more hybrid approach to work are welcome to use.
