Sumo Leamington welcomes new Development Director

We're delighted to announce the appointment of Development Director Paul Hollywood, the latest talent to be added to our growing leadership team

With over 30 years industry experience, Paul brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role, having previously co-founded and grown three game development and digital studios – Digital Image Design, Evolution Studios and vTime. 

Paul joins us as Development Director for Sumo Leamington’s first own-IP project, which is being published in partnership with fellow Sumo Group business, Secret Mode. The role will see Paul working closely with disciplines across the development team, communicating product vision and managing the day-to-day work of the project. 

Paul said: “It’s the people at Sumo Leamington that make it such a great place to work. The studio is working on some incredibly exciting projects and has an exemplary leadership team, but the people working on projects daily are the real magic here.   

“I’ve already met and got to know some wonderfully talented people, and they’ve made me feel so welcome already. I’m very excited about my future with Sumo Leamington.”

Paul joins us at an exciting time for Sumo Leamington. Founded in 2019 by Harinder Sangha and Chris Southall, our studio recently celebrated its 3rd anniversary. Our studio saw a 76% headcount increase during the pandemic - being able to offer full remote working opportunities - building a team of over 80 talented individuals.
