The role @ Sumo
Sumo Leamington have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Character Artist to come and join the team!
Working with the Art and Engineering teams, you will develop character pipelines for character customisation systems. You will also support the work of the character artists by creating best technical practices whilst also taking character assets through every stage from sculpting, retopology, UV's, baking maps, skinning and setting up in engine.
To be successful you will have:
In depth knowledge of character creation methodsSoftware skills in Maya, ZBrush, Painter and photoshopExperience of working with and developing character customisation systemsExperience of adding skin weights to rigsExperience of working with and creating blendshapesUnderstanding of what makes good topology for deformationDesirable – experience of creating rigs
