Stampede: Racing Royale Comes to Xbox Insider Program!

heyhey racers! We interrupt your regularly scheduled doomscrolling for some exciting Stampede: Racing Royale news...

A new, work-in-progress version of Stampede: Racing Royale is available right now on Xbox Insider Program, for you to download and play for free. Nice! 

Either from your Xbox Series X|S, or on your PC via the Microsoft Store, download the Xbox Insiders app to get free access to an early version of our 60-player online kart racer. Anyone with an Xbox account can play, but there is a cap of 50,000 downloads, so make sure to sign up and download quickly.

Following last year’s playtests, this version of Stampede has a host of new features, content, and ways to play – all of which is still in development, but ready for you to test and provide feedback on. New stuff to check out on Xbox Insider Program includes work-in-progress features like Challenges and Special Events, over 450 customisation items to discover, new maps, Zombie Battle mode, and plenty more, all driven by player feedback from 2023’s playtests.  

Players on Insider Program will also receive an exclusive in-game customisation item, when Early Access begins later this year! Just make sure to play with the same Xbox/Microsoft account for both versions of the game to redeem your reward.  

This is another important step in the game’s development journey, and our plan to begin Early Access in the first half of this year has not changed. We’ll continue to keep you posted on dates, platforms, content, and more cool stuff across our channels - including our official Discord server, which is now live! Join the main hangout space for the Stampede community, chat with our team, and meet fellow racers.

Anyone who plays via the Xbox Insider Hub will have the ability to send us reports if you’re experiencing any issues, plus we’ll be running surveys and chatting directly to players, as we continue to build the game with our community’s feedback in mind.
